Welcome to International Right of Way Association Chapter 15
Chapter 15, part of Region 04, is the New Jersey Chapter of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA). Chapter 15 was founded in 1956 and was one of the first chapters of the American Right of Way Association. The American Right of Way Association was later renamed the International Right of Way Association. We are a professional organization serving the needs of practitioners in the right of way field.
Chapter 15 has members in professions ranging from surveyors, title agents and appraisers to attorneys and engineers. - IRWA is an organization dedicated to the professional development of its members, providing specialized education and training programs in all right of way disciplines, including: negotiation and acquisition, management, appraisal, relocation assistance, environmental, asset/property management, real estate law, engineering, and surveying.
- IRWA offers two career paths for Right of Way Professionals: Industry Path and Specialist Path.
- IRWA’s premier designation, the SR/WA Senior Right of Way Professional, is the highest achievement for the right of way professional.
